Anabel Forester
Anabel is an up-and-coming Chicago-based artist, who is entirely environmentally-oriented.
We find her message crucial in these times of hedonism, as we are currently are living in a pandemic of widespread datacenter construction. This practice destroys ecosystems, the water table, and contributes greatly to climate change. Although large corporations make the baseless claim that βAI will solve climate changeβ - as of current, AI datacenter developement has done nothing but the opposite.
In her works, she stresses the importance of building a sustainable planet.
βWe are currently on the wrong path. We consume too much, frankly, we are indeed on the wrong path.β She states βThis is why I use sustainable materials like paper and environmentally friendly watercolors. I like to use as little pigment as possible. Minimizing our footprint is my message.β
