AI: THE DEATH OF FINE ART
AI art, which many internet users refer to as “slop” - is now flooding the internet - inhibiting collectors from finding talented artists on popular social media platforms. Individuals looking for talent must wade through dozens, sometimes hundreds, of false artworks in order to find a potential talented artist who creates traditionally.
Imagine a library full of books, and for every one meaningfully unique book, there is 100 false books designed to lead one astray. Searching for talent has become even more challenging than sifting for a diamond in the rough.
This is a blatant and orchestrated suppression of culture.
Initially, during war time, the destruction of a society involved burning the keystones of culture: literature, art, architecture, etc. This is no longer necessary in the contemporary era. Now, it hides behind a veil - the flooding of false works without story nor value - which contributes to the dilution and stagnation of the art world, and shrouds talent in an uninvited veil of vacuousness.
This is why The Expressionist devotes many of its resources to ensure all represented artists do not utilize any form of artificial means to create their works. We make it quite easy for collectors to get in touch with real artists. Feel free to contact an artist.
If culture is lost, what will there be to protect?
We are human. We are the Expressionists.
